With the sound of dubstep evolving far from its roots to form new sub genres and to influence a whole new wave of bass music, we thought we'd take a trip back, and for one night bring the sound of 2005-2008 London to Melbourne's home of dubstep, The Laundry Bar. Expect to hear classic tunes that shaped the sound from producers like Skream, Loefah, Digital Mystikz, Kromestar, Hatcha, Distance + more. With the bill including Melbourne's OG selectors and special guest Farj (Darksyde/Aquatic Lab/Garage Pressure), this is going to be a trip down memory lane for the seasoned skankers and a history lesson in bass for the youngsters. Maximum vibes guaranteed, with a dark room, smoke machine, and Funktion One sound. Fully stocked bar for the drinkers, and an outdoor area for the smokers. Entry $15 on the door. Brooock Out!!
