considering the 'sacrilegious act' you have committed - remixing burial by pretending to be burial - the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive mate!

getting hurt by a few people saying 'urg' shows you to be not legit and seeking praise and assurance - upon finding an ambivalent comment you go * berserk on the internet*

Dunno if not being prepped, trained or just generally used to negative comments in public makes someone 'not legit'.
I make music as Forsaken, you can DL all my unreleased (and a couple released) bits here.

95 percent of the album is samples from the Burial album itself. I mostly isolated drum/synth/vox hits on their own, chopped them up and used to create something entirely new. I rarely ever used any looping, I think there are either 1 or 2 tracks overall where there is slight looping, but it's so faint that you would barely notice it.

I used some external atmospheric samples to put my own twist on the record.. rain, as noted, I use a lot, as well as some extra static noises.

But if you hear things that don't sound anything like the original versions of the song, it is mostly because I modulated and messed around with all the samples I cut up.

So yeah, in short, I basically built every song from the ground up using 1-hit samples from the original album
