Re: Anyone have a Virus TI?
kryptic minds use a virus. To me that is enough XD
Re: Anyone have a Virus TI?
don't make it so obvious that you work for spectrasonics, please. you sound like the dub-turbo commercial.Benedict wrote:I used to have a Virus TI Snow, but like so many hardware synths I sold it because it wasn't as good as Omnisphere!
The famous hyper-saw was the most disappointing aspect of my Virus experience. The effects are very good, but that's not enough
I wouldn't recommend buying a Virus under any circumstances (but then again I bought mine against the recommendations of a previous Virus-owner!)
anyways, virus' are badass hardware synths. hardware. that's what this topic is about.
i call total, crazy, ridiculous BULLSHIT on your statement, because the super-saw is fucking pro.
Re: Anyone have a Virus TI?
I second that,it isn't the wave its the lack of pre and post processing knowledge that is key.bassinine wrote: the super-saw is fucking pro.

Re: Anyone have a Virus TI?
I'm really considering getting a Virus Snow soon,
How much are they worth used ?
Iv been saving up money so i could do the Point Blank DnB course which is £395
Should i just keep saving and get a used Snow instead ?

Re: Anyone have a Virus TI?
I LOVE the Virus sound, so gritty and raw yet capable of creating some seriously old skool sounding pads.
I'm keen to know more about its TI function like how well does it actually work.
Could I create sounds on the synth then load and control them in the VST without any loss of audio (through the usb)

Re: Anyone have a Virus TI?
The virus ti plugin just controls the synth anyway. You have to have the synth turned on for the plugin to work so no you won't lose any audio quality.Mark-Creda wrote: Could I create sounds on the synth then load and control them in the VST without any loss of audio (through the usb)
I have owned a virus c,ti desktop and now have the keyboard version. If you learn to programme it properly it is capable of monster sounds.Just its effects unit is worth buying it for.
It is well worth buying if you have the cash but a bit of a bitch to learn.
