It IS possible, you just have to eat a lot of protein (way more than on your bulk) and rest a lot and take an occasional break from cutting (and not cut for too long). Having a cheat day in the weekend is also a good thing. I'd probably be better off bulking atm too. I used to be 175 lbs at 5'8" with probably about 14% bodyfat. Now I'm at 12 weighing a measely 147. I really shouldn't have stopped working out and eating when I did.Molzie wrote:Yeah, I found out the hard way that its almost impossible to maintain muscle during a cut.
