That's not at all how I read that e-mail, rather that the pluralization refers to the number of LEGO products you have and LEGO should just be ignored as it's the brand name.
So it would be "Oh goddamn it Billy I stepped on your fucking LEGO piece while walking to the bathroom last night." or "Goddamn it John we don't have enough LEGO pieces to complete this skyscraper. Tell your little sister to stop shoving them up her nose."
Now if we were a forum full of children who still had parents who yelled at us to put away our lego or legos, we could be smartasses and tell them that's just a brand name :6: and they should refer to the actual components. :cornlol:

Shit so did I, because my Mom or Dad would be the one telling me to pick up my legos.

The simple fact that Lego refers to the brand name and not the actual bricks themselves is too much for me for one day.

"I have some Lego" is a grammatically correct sentence, therefore the plural of Lego is, well, Lego

Well, what would be a grammatically correct example then? Not all brand names function the same grammatically...
