Vowel Style Modulated Midrange (Not Growls)

'Sup guys, I don't usually post these kinda threads but I'm looking for some input on how you'd go about making the vocal style modulating midrange in the background of this track, the one that's like Ah-Eeh-Oh-Eeh:


I've also heard similar stuff layered in Madeon's, Sub Focus' and Dirtyphonics' new stuff - all layered in underneath other midrange or top end synths. I've tried using WOW filter but it's way too obvious and shitty and doesn't modulate nice and smoothly

Sounds like WOW to me, just dont have too much resonance on the filter and mix the dry in a bit
