My gf works with Dementia sufferers. You're actually supposed to go along with what they're saying, for instance... if they're looking for their mother (who is likely dead), you should help them look. Saying she's dead makes them panic. It's actually pretty fascinating, I read some of her training stuff. But yeah, don't mock 'em
because you're more than likely to end up with it.
