Sneakers

Some of the technology scenes are massively dated, but this is still damn good fun with a quality cast :Q:

The Place Beyond The Pines.

Watched it last night. It's a great film, if a little long. It's shot beautifully. Bradley Cooper absolutely killed it. He gets a lot of shit, but he really is a tremendous actor.

saw it today
really good...enjoyed the structure, the rebuild after first denoument
and it was a rare film for males that didn't make concessions to teen/old/female tastes
the two young guys were brilliant...AJ was a great snotty-nosed prick & the guy who was Jason...was Jason.

Going to need an id on this old war world 1 era movie. I remember watching the movie when I was about 10 years old. There were 2 or 3 main characters and they were all pilots. I pretty sure that one of the characters is shot down and dies of his injuries when he gets back to base. The movie looked liked it was made in the 30's or early 40's. Any guesses???

Harrleson's portrayal of an utter tnuc is spot on. Wonderfully shot, proper late-90s LA vibe perfectly captured.
