Could an inland taipan's fangs penetrate a [animal with thick hide, pick one] before it got squashed though? Also, there is no recorded information on an inland taipan vs an elephant. Venom affects different creatures in different ways, a funnel web spider can get a human but it's bite has no effect on a cat, for example.

Good point but animals with thick hides (usually/always) have shit eyesight. Would they be able to see the venomous creature to squash it?

Law of averages would suggest that if a rhino/elephant were in an arena with a snake long enough, snake would get squashed.

African or Indian Elephant though? If Indian and the snake is in a tree...

Yeah matis shrimp are crazy but they failed to mention that shrimp are born male and then turn female with old age. Imagine a society like that - disgusting .

Also there's an octopus that shoots its Jimmy out like a torpedo at the female when mating, only to return later and get re-attached - now imagine that society and how much playstation, drinking and footballering they can manage.
