biggie smalls drum rack

Post by zosomagik » Thu May 16, 2013 10:19 pm

so later tonight im probably gonna kick back watch some t.v. and make myself a straight notorious BIG drum rack from some acapellas i have, i have like two albums worth so im just gonna chop em all up.
anybody else every do anything like this? (for things other than drums and percussion) like maybe grab a couple handfuls of your favorite bass patches and sample them and throw em in a drum rack?

i get what your saying. i know hip hop is HUGE with sample based productions. but im talking about like making giant drum racks with one constant idea for example a biggie drum rack or like a reese bass drum rack. basically putting things into a drum rack that are out of the "norm" of what people would think to normally put in a drum rack, or just doing obscure things with drum racks.
