depressing that it's supposed to be a joke, but is actually pretty spot on to the truth. :|

Yep, it's probably too low for your system. For the record, I still think it's a shit tune, but it most definitely does have bass.

I don't know what your system is, but the first note of sub is like a low C# or something, which most people's speakers don't reach. If your system does hit those lows, I really don't know how you came to the conclusion that it has no bass.

Eh, I heard it in my car a while ago (12inch sub in the back) and the bass was pretty decent, maybe it comes through better in a car than in a club. Either way, my condolences on the tinnitus hearing it out must have caused you

mary anne hobbs played it here. it was at a festival so it was the full size set up of pretty much the best system in the southern california area, and all i remember was the contrast between eyez just a tune or two earlier and then the complete lack of any sort of sub when sweet shop came in. it was laughable.

Unfortunately I've heard Sweet Shop out before, there was some sub but that screechy treble was just fucking painful

Can't have been as awful as when I heard Tetris out. It was not longer after I'd gotten into dubstep, and at the time I was pretty apathetic about the whole dubstep vs brostep thing, but then hearing that tune made me realise what all the fuss was about. Doctor P single-handedly ruined an entire sub-genre for me.
