Post-Hardcore Drum Samples/Loops?

Post by nrvous » Sat May 18, 2013 8:34 am

Not too sure if this is the right place to post this, but does anyone have any post-hardcore drum loops/fills?

Thanks. (:

No one said it was gonna be easy. I spent last afternoon sampling oneshots from a song where there's just single drumhits scattered all over to make myself a fill. Keep looking. There should be half of one drumbeat somewhere and another half somewhere else

And you know what "post-hardcore drums" sound like. Just get yourself a modern rock sample pack and write a post-hardcore drumbeat or just mash-up any rock beat you find until it has a post-hardcore feel to you

Edit: If you're looking for one very specific break and have no luck finding it I understand that. But production is about the ends, not the means. Don't think about adding 'post-hardcore drums', but about adding 'drums that sound post-hardcore' to your tunes and THEN think about the ways to achieve that sound. I once wanted the feel of a distorted bass guitar playing stabs, but actual bass samples didn't cut it so I made a reese sound like it.

thanks, I'll try and recreate some from some youtube videos. I just thought that someone would have some from sessions recordings perhaps.
