Bit funny now reading Ikonika giving 320s for feedback and not being well received or Ben UFO studying philosophy and not being sure if he can live off music. I don't do all this for the sake of stalking only, mind you. Untold's posts have good tips on how to make eski synths for example.
Yeah thats why I asked really; it can be a bit disheartening when someone posts a tune and it isn't as well recieved as they'd have hoped. It would be good to look back at some of the earlier comments posted by artists that have actually made it in the industry now, to see the kind of feedback they were initially receiving and the challenges thay faced when getting to where they are now - and as you say, give you confidence.

I think I'll have a look back at some of their earlier posts; beats actually doing work, whilst at work! :z:

I know there are many producers who are signed to lables that post on here, but I mean has anyone seen an artist come on here as an amateur, asking for advice, then turned out to make it as an artist signed to a decent lable?
Ikonika posted on the dubs forum saying if anyone wanted a "320 Wav" before admitting she was new to it and got it confused with mp3.
