Bounce it out dry with no fx etc. if the glitch is still there, it's a problem with one of your clips. If the glitch is gone, then it's one or more of your fx causing it. You can then try turning them on channel by channel until you find it. Might take a while depending on how many channels you've got.
That's long ting.

i had a similar problem not long back, fixed it by using "RAM" mode in the ableton sample player because my hard drive was overloading
hey that could work.. what's this RAM mode you're talking bout?
as for wub, appreciate the help mate but i for one have no patience to try that out and another thing i also believe it has something to do with my computer being quite old and lacking performance.. this is a particularly heavy project that needs to be rendered if i want to listen to it, cpu usage goes to like 100 if i try to listen to it in ableton. in lighter projects with less stuff going on i havent had the problem

if you've got one track with baare effects on, try exporting just that to wav and put it back in before exporting the whole thing

if you highlight a clip on the ableton timeline (or multiple clips) and look at the sample display at the bottom (where you can warp it and stuff) on the left hand side there's a little button marked "RAM". click that and the sample gets loaded into memory rather than reading it off the hard drive each time.
failing that its piss easy to bounce a track to audio in ableton if you just right click on the track and click "Freeze Track" and then when it's done, right click the track again and click "flatten". That should help your cpu problem if you've got a track with a lot of processing going on.

I've submitted three pieces of artwork to clients so far this week. The two which I consider to be portfolio pieces have been rejected and the one which I'm ashamed to have my name next to has just been called "oustanding".
I'm struggling to deal with these people.

thats about right LOL
i often do 3 options for work stuff, or 3 cameras
2 of which are legit choices that iv worked over and considered and then a 'donkey option' which is whatever
the 'donkey option' often gets chosen

a few years back, for a laugh, i played a band (who have since moved onto bigger and better places) the exact same mixdown of one of their tunes twice and asked them which they preferred. They were overwhelmingly in support of the 'first' version.

+1 clients are retarded
irritates me when things get to the point of them undesigning ur designs so much it almost seems easier to cancel the contract and tell them to do it themselves. also irritates me when they forget theyre hiring someone to generate creative solutions for them and not someone to just use as a human paintbrush who knows how to use complicated software.
