Most of this "post-dubstep" stuff; all discordant with nothing going on...

airhead is sick imo but 'post-dubstep' is an absolutely retarded term

I cried when mixmag labeled South London Boroughs "The first post-dubstep?" in that dubstep family tree thing.

does it really matter what mixmag have to say about it? it's just another term

nope.
pots falling down stairs could be the latest hype and their parasite writers would start a new night in ibiza over it.

It's not that it matters, it's just so fucking stupid.

it's not like his music is bad. in fact, it's great, don't get me wrong. but it's so incredibly overhyped by the hipsters.

you are correct on the over hyped part, especially how people seem to wank off to anything mala ever made.

it's annoying how everyone wants every dubstep song to sound like mala. it really limits the genre and drives producers away (*cough* skream *cough* benga *cough*)

i find its the people who try to create a more individual sound for themselves (wayfarer springs to mind) get more appreciation, at least from me anyway.
people do just get bored of doing the same shit for ten years, wouldnt necessarily say theyve been 'driven away'. basically, what loefah said in that interview about not connecting with the way somethign sounds and u just have to let it go. or whatever
malas tunes do tend to get OTT praised just cos mala made them though imo. he does have a good few bangers but u dont have to like everything someone puts out just cos theyre a pure sound geezer/absolute legend. i guess ppl feel like they have to love everything he puts out just cos its mala u kno
