fuck professors that give a shit if u show up to class (especially if they say they dont, but then record it)... if u don't need to go there to do well on the tests, and there is no discussion, what is the point

never got that in high school, definitely don't get it now. and it's always the most boring classes with (tbh not so good) younger professors that have mandatory attendance. this dude in particular is a 30 something hipster who doesn't even teach most of his classes but gets all sorts of guest lecturers, mostly wannabe anthropologists like himself.
i thought that people who spent like 1/4 of their lives in an university would understand that attendance does not equal interest or effort.

that's the plan. got a few things lined up just want to get my degree and get it over with. half a year ago i was certain i wanna go down the whole masters, then phd etc route, but i grew pretty disillusioned with that, as it's a shitty environment, a lot of work for little reward and i don't wanna be supported by my parents til i'm 30
