i kind of like it

like blues or browns

i like when the names identify with something related to the city/area & if those colors are traditionally associated w/ the team then why not just call them that

i don't mind names with colors when they have meaning, like the browns (named after the first coach), reds (since they were the first pro team called the red stockings), or blues (which has to do with a song, 'the st louis blues'). but the name redblacks has nothing to do with the history of the city, other than the fact that they were colors of the last franchises that have folded over a 25 year span. there are just so many better names out there. shit, just go with the reds (or the rouge!), since its out nations capital and red is our main colour! it just makes no sense and doesn't really represent the city at all. they might as well be called the sandy chinos tbh.

fuck the CFL anyways though. they're gunna go under in 10 years anyways if they keep trying to play games on sunday instead of our traditional friday...even though the major canadian networks are starting to show more and more NFL games...

i probably shouldn't hope for this to happen tho, since i have friends who play in the cfl
