MoonUnit - This Instant (Dubstep)

Post by MoonUnit » Thu Jun 13, 2013 1:47 pm

Hey everyone, here's my newest track I've been working on.
Done in Reason 7 using one instance of subtractor for the bassline and some automation.
I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed making the track.
Constructive criticism greatly appreciated!
Please feel free to ask me about the track/processing as well!

I like the metal work in this but I think there should be some bass with that main wobble it sounds pretty mid range but the song flow is real nice I like it

Liking the song overall. I think the synth wobbles just right, but could either do with being layered up with another couple of instances of the same (slightly tweaked) to give it a bit more grit, or Eq'd a little more to make it stand out?
Love that you are using reason - I use it too, and I can't get my stuff to sound as clear as this. Well done!

P.s. - I bet on a horse called Moon Unit once, it won. That isn't you is it?

Cheers,
Piesy

Thanks all, this has been incredibly helpful I appreciate it.

Sub isn't too weighted, is it? Also I'm gonna try dropping main wobble down an octave n see what happens.
