Just dropped this track dubstep track inspired by the likes of Zomboy, Kill the Noise and xKore. I'm not real keen to touch this track again but feedback is appreciated none the less
Soundcloud
Enjoy!

I like! That synth where I commented is real nice, what did you use to make it if you don't mind me asking?
Only critical thing I would say is the sound that first comes in at 16 seconds sounds a little out of place to me. Too prominent? Not enough effects? Not sure. The rest of it was spot on though - nice job!

If you're referring to the hard synth lead type thing, it was made in massive. most of basses in this track are massive besides a few that I used harmless for.

Massive, mostly digigrain 2 on bend - , scrap yard and arctic (also bend - ). Double notch filter into a daft filter, distort to taste. Ohmicide helps. I might do a video series on growls n stuff soon, sub my new youtube channel to keep posted

its alright, i can tell you probably went onto youtube and watched tutorials on how to make those sounds. not that its a bad thing, but imo im impressed more by the producer who creates his own sound. when you said it sounds like Zomboy, KTN and xKore you were spot on.

That's a bit offensive since I actually took the time to learn massive inside out to create these kind of basses, there aren't many good youtube tutorials out there anyway. It's all well and good saying that everyone should 'create their own sound', but a producers sound evolves from his influences and the tools he uses until it eventually becomes something unique on it's own. That being said I'm in no hurry to make my own sound, I know it will happen in time.
