Some of the darkest tunes going. Some speed garage shit is beyond dark. Even some of the commercial stuff (Little Bit Of Luck, So Solid) was dark!

Also, the name Future Garage gets packed for being pretentious or whatever, but it's not considering itself some sort of forward thinking clique. The name came from "giving garage a future", as in, keeping that garage vibe going, rather than letting it die off. If you're gonna pack something, at least know what you're packing.

I don't think FG is all 'bad', the odd tune can be decent. That first Sepalcure EP is good. To me it just represents the opposite extreme of 'brostep'. Vibes at the expense of novelty. With brostep, wobbles aren't part of the song, they ARE the one and only point of it. With future garage, the shuffly clicks and "deep vibes" aren't part of the song, they're all the song is about. Good tunes can be written in those styles, but most people attempting them go for novelty.

In a lot of FG tunes, the 'Burial shuffle' is so long and drawn out that the drums lose all their impact and energy. While what made the 'shuffle' great was the addition of energy. FG producers turn it into a self-indulgent masturbation who can get the most shuffle going
