Do you perceive fat people to be lazier?

Based on the logic that if they weren't lazy, they wouldn't be fat.

Sure, but that's logic. This is about an immediate emotional response. Even if I don't think they're lazy, I do have other prejudices about obese people. And I used to be fat. Like 'grunting when I had to get up' fat, when I was 14!

I think we all have some racist or sexist prejudices tbh. I wished we could all as people be more upfront and honest about them and talk about them than demonize them. Like, I don't control my thoughts, but I can control my actions and how I deal with them. So even when a racist thought comes up, I know I'm wrong about it and I'm not bothered with it and get on with my life.

Haha, it's a barely audible sixpack at 11/12% bodyfat and it's not impressive, but if I get it down to 9-10% it'll be good enough. There's dudes my height who are like 70 - 72 kg that are ripped.

I work with a lady that has diabetes and is very large as a result.
She is however lazy and over eats.

What causes type 2 though?

type 2 diabetes can happen to anyone. obesity is a major factor (and side effect), but in reality its just your metabolism not working anymore due to certain lifestyles. not being active, stress, and even lack of sleep can cause it.

i'd like to know where you found that info, wub. it doesn't really paint the whole picture correctly.

it depends. if i see an overweight 50+ year old person, i totally get it. like when ive got kids and shit, theres no way in hell ill be waking up at 5 to go exercise then.

but when i see someone whos so fat they cant even walk, they drive one of those ridiculous scooters around, its like "come on, you let this happen to you"

No. You can be thin or "normal sized" and still get type 2 - its not uncommon. There are plenty of factors involved that make it so your body cannot produce enough insulin. Smoking is factor. Drinking in excess is a factor. High Blood pressure is a factor. Only eating one large meal a day is a factor. Essentially anything that fucks up your natural metabolic cycle can cause it.
