he was being a cocky asshole, but his antics were too ridiculous. for a man who lives to fight like he does, he had to purposely take it as "seriously" as he did.

plus his interview afterwards just seemed so out of character...he wasn't phased by losing and said he didn't want a rematch. he seemed like he was tired of being the champ, and especially tired of making peanuts in comparison to what the UFC was making off of him.

I let a kind of friend stay in my room for a night when I wasnt there a month ago and I came back the next day in the evening and he was still in bed and he had been using my computer without my permission. He was like yeah your computers fucked up or something and somehow a virus had sprung up while he was using it that made it impossible to use my computer. I still cant use it and its really pissing me off cos i just graduated and so now I have loads of time but cant make any tunes. I didnt get angry with him or anything but I have now asked to him to pay for a new copy of windows to reinstall it which is about 60 quid. Hes saying he should only be held responsible if i can show that it was him that got the virus onto the computer but IMO the fact that he used it without my permission and it happened while he was using it makes him fully responsible. On top of that he says he hasnt got any money but actually he doesnt pay any rent and sells stuff which makes alot of money, even had the cheek to offer about 20 euros of stuff as compensation.

btw anyone know if its possible that the virus just activated while he was using it and wasnt actually his fault? he said it happened when he clicked a sockshare link

Fuck that, break one of his legs the cheeky shite. He's the one who fucked it up, it's his prerogative to prove he didn't, not yours to prove he did.

Sites like Putlocker/Sockshare generally don't have viruses/spyware on them, but a lot of the ads that feature on the pages may do. However, you have to be a bit thick to click on the 'wrong' link IMO.

TBH i wouldn't see it as morally wrong "acquiring" a copy of windows than buying a new one. You may be able to DL it for free (legit) if you have a windows ID sticker somewhere on your computer (it will have a key on it)?

I wouldnt bother chasing your "mate" for money if i were you, but i would have to think about my friendship to that person.

yeah well i live in a different country to him now so thats not a problem really. Perhaps make getting money from him a bit more of a problem tho.

I do have the key but most of it has rubbed off. Pretty sure you cant download it legally for free though can you?

torrenting isnt much of and option cos for one thing im using my mums computer at the moment and if i got a virus on here she would kill me.
