More like you're demonstrating a typical attitude of a n00b to DSF, if you look around the site you'll find a good diversity of music...
Don't come across as confrontational if you want your opinion to be considered with you in the conversation. You've already had one person agree with you off the bat so you can't say 'Typical DSFer' when only person that's responded has that point of view. I'm not even saying they shouldn't have it either.
On topic, Noisia make some good stuff, Skrillex just got marketed to where he is now

why would someone go listen to dead mou5 and katy perry remixes if they weren't into that music... really says nothing about the sites userbase
, being closed minded or anyth9ng

As I said, noob attitude... there's even a thread on Chimpo pop remixes from '08 ffs
Because they put years of hard work in the Dnb scene with an incredible output and most of us heard of them before skrillex came about, unlike you. Otherwise you would already know this OP

I can't see a person "not being into" that music, having never heard it, and refusing to hear it. I can only conclude that a person would refuse to listen because they think themselves above it. Which is stupid, and just goes to what looks very much like a sense of bigotry common to this site.
I do not care for Deadmau5 (what I've heard of him) and am definitely not a fan of Katy Perry in general, but Noisia's remixes of them (as well as of, say, "Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites") are always worth the listen, because I like Noisia. Well the guy I called a "typical DSFer" posted a bunch of pro-Noisia propaganda, which is great, and then refuses to listen to certain other Noisia because of Noisia's starting point.

I'm not too concerned with the way a bunch of elitist twinks consider me. I mostly got the answer I was looking for.
Maybe it is not a good idea to come across as confrontational generally. But I really take umbrage to the apparent attitude of DSF as a collective ... which it very much appears to be.

What does any of that matter? - My theoretical newness to "EDM" (?), Noisia's presence before Skrillex (which is misstated), or your non sequitur of a second sentence?
I really wonder though, so many ppl come to post in DSF with a general idea of the ppl on the forum being A class stnuc who hate on everything. Yet they still make the same topic with the same generic mindset/content.

Fuck EDM, it's Drum & Bass bumbaclart. That's the Noisia i'm talking about, sound design legends. Skrillex is just a pop star who's been shown the ropes by the industry's "finest."

If you walk in to a room full of people and ONE of them says something you don't like but then you make a remark about ALL of them , even though they don't think or act like this person, you're not going to make friends, are you? You've already been proved wrong on what you said so now you just look like a bellend
