lol i didn't use to mind daft punk, but 'get lucky' and 'lose yourself to dance' are fucking horrible and annoying as fuck, and they almost made me loathe them. i kinda feel that daft punk is like all nice and groovy music for people who don't really have any idea of dance / electronic / funk, disco etc types of music.

but i do have some respect for them especially thomas bangalter who has produced some nice sounding stuff in the 90's with different monikers

they are horribly overrated. all my mates slate me when ever i say that the new album was dull and pointless. get lucky sounds like a shit maroon 5 song. (i.e. all of them)

New album was wack as hell, but they aren't overrated at all. They have banger after banger.
