Dour festival was awesome. Captain Murphy, Suuns, Karenn, Joy O, Stuff :D

The good dubstep was programmed at the worst time though, so didn't see Loefah nor DMZ.

The place was full of them. By 10pm, a lot of them were still caked in makeup/fake tan, but were clearly dead underneath. Like masks barely covering horrific visages.

Yeah, pretty much. Other than the Speakerbox tent, the music was pretty interchangeable amongst the three EDM tents. Heard a few tunes played over and over as we wandered around.

Pretty much the level of humanity that was there. It was like a bunch of apes, occasionally one would climb on another's shoulders and then start ooking at the rest of the crowd, like he'd scaled the highest rock in the habitat.
Liam92 wrote:Checked the lineup, least there was Goldie and Shy FX...
Goldie was on at 2pm for some strange reason, so after the ridiculous queues to get in we got there for the last 10mins of his set. Didn't stay for Jaguar Skills, Shy FX was quality and played a bit of reggae and some good jungle, but after him Flux Pavilion came out and fuck me, it was shocking. Didn't think the chubby tnuc actually sung over his sets now, thought that was a joke.

He was clearly a bit worse for wear ("Hey EDC, who likes good music? Who likes dance music? Well my name is Flux Pavilion and I'm going to drunkenslurintomicrophone"). He then started doing so godawful emo vocals over the top of his tune, realised he was losing the crowd as like half of them had fucked off when Shy FX left, then lazily chopped Bass Cannon in.

We left at that point.

Possibly a bit insensitive but I noticed this image on the Guardian site of the Chinese earthquake.

Anyone notice the little girl in the street pulling the 'Beyonce - All the singe ladies' pose?

We skipped Lovebox this year to go EDC. Not my choice, but the LB lineup wasn't outstanding and I wasn't able to make Friday anyway with flight times and things.
