Similarly, at Lovebox on Friday i witnessed a migration of several hundred tnucs to go and see a Disclosure DJ set over Jurassic 5.

We skipped Lovebox this year to go EDC. Not my choice, but the LB lineup wasn't outstanding and I wasn't able to make Friday anyway with flight times and things.
Was quite shit anyway minus J5.

Bar queues were topping an hour with no shade, toilets almost as bad & systems were weak in every tent, Rodigan was hilarious though + he played this:

Basically an American styled 'EDM' event in London. Fell flat, music was identical bar a couple of DnB exceptions, site was pretty but very unimaginatively decorated, chubby stage dancers (not hating, just I don't expect stage dancers to have muffin tops/bellies), crowd was largely dickheads.

As I mentioned earlier, it was like walking through a safari park amongst the animals and observing them in their natural environment. Special mentions to go;
  • The girl who came out of Pizza Express in Westfield's toilet sniffing frantically and rubbing her nostrils at 2pm amongst a load of families having lunch
  • The lad who was being restrained by six security after refusing to be searched
  • The slightly roid-y looking chap sat on the ground about 3pm angrily crying and alternating between punching the astroturf and beating his chest like he was hulking up.
  • The bloke who took a piss up the side of an ice cream van whilst the owners were yelling at him as it was in full view of the line of customers
A lot of the festival was like that bit in Fear & Loathing where he's proper twisted and trying to check into the hotel with the lizards feeding on each. Fascinating spectacle when you're tripping, but ultimately the whole event felt a little flat and half arsed.

That's because of the porn ban m7. What about all the kids who want to know how that royal baby was made?
