Bought a pair of decks, mixer, microphone and headphones 2nd hand for £25
Obviously the quality was not going to be great but hey, it was cheap and I am poor.
Mixer turns on but can't get any signal through

Check lack of signal is the case for all channels on all inputs (assuming you've got input selectors, line/phono etc)?

^Yep, checked all that, also checked it wasn't the cables from the decks or anything. I suspect some sort of loose connection inside the mixer, but I son't really know much about electronics so don't want to risk fucking it up. Gonna take it to a repair shop tomorrow.

Could always take the top plate off and give it a blast with a can of air/wipe with an anti static cloth to remove some of the crap from the connectors.
