as you can see, it's like 80% drums... 35 channels! fuck. ha. most of those are single sounds; only a couple of them (metal, metal 2, foley, idm kit) are multiple sounds in one channel with a drum rack.
i'd forgotten how shit each instrument sounded on its own - it's only as a whole that the drum track sits properly together. mute a couple of the tracks and it sounds pathetic.
DW i saw a track you posted by them in another thread

Horror Show is good, but Goat Stare/Mud/Disko Rekah are all much better imo.

Clams casino beats arent very complex man, neither is hudmo's stuff really. They just happen to use really bright sounds and of course, know their way around production
Simplicity is the best though. Breakage - Rain are and Cyrus - Nostalgia are two more examples of this

goat stare maybe, mud maybe, but disko rekah?
to each their own i guess.

Lunice, hudmo, flylo, clams casino, madeon- these artists can use a lot more emotive techniques than the typical top producer. But you are right there is something to be said about simplicity in certain situations
Lunice doesn't fit in that list imo. his songs have not enough instrumentation as Hudmo.. but he's a great producer.
