I like a lot of tunes from any of Aphex Twin's eras, but his music doesn't age well. It's really dated. His glitched-out pseudo-breakcore stuff too. It just sounds SO 2001.

Mu-Ziq aged a lot better tbh.

Nah SAW vol 1. has a lot on that isn't that great anymore. Xtal being one of them.

Yeah, I meant more starting with Lunatic Harness and everything after it. His older shit even sounds dated by the standards of its time

Just did a DSF search to see if I ever did and yep, a year ago :p haha. I think that's the only electronic album I listened to 10 years ago that I still listen to on a consistent basis. One of my favorites.

to me aphex twin is just the god of electronic music, he just has something that the others don't, can't explain it.

I didn't like Random Access Memories all that much.

It has a couple good songs, but the rest isn't that great in my opinion.
Especially Get Lucky. That song is criminally overhyped.

Fair point, Get Lucky just kinda irks me though. Can't really get into it.
