I can strongly relate to that uncomfortable feeling when people don't like the music I'm playing in my car. Thing is - this is my car, and I don't want to listen to your skrillex or your lil wayne or your avicii so fuck off and deal with it yunno m8?

I don't even try playing my music at parties. People in 'merica just don't get it. I wish I lived in London. I have a whole theory that it has to do with the beat. The 2 step garage beat and breakbeats in general (except for hiphop, for some reason) are just not understood by most americans I don't think. We're used to a simple 4 on the floor. That's all we can handle. And people feel uncomfortable when they hear music that they aren't familiar with.

hey when someone else is driving I never complain. I'll listen to whatever the driver wants. It's their call as far as I'm concerned. That's why it annoys me when my friends try to play fuckin drake in my car.

Anyway, @OP, I usually end up playing tunes like:

there's decent enough for me to bear but pop-y enough for them to listen to.
