Mate of mine who is a criminal defence lawyer recently had to defend someone who had been caught in an online child porn 'sting' operation. Undercover police have accounts on some of these sites and actively try to engage with paedophiles to snare them. In this case, the officer posed as a father and put an ad up asking for people to drive to where he was and rape his 8yr old daughter with him.
This guy replied, drove down there and when they met up in a shopping centre, police pounced on him. Searched the guys car, found rope, gaffer tape, a video camera.
Really fucking dark shit.
