you'll love System, it's just about my favourite place on earth, sadly I can't go to the one in August, it'll be my first time missing one :(

LA_Boxers wrote:Easy mate. Theres not really too much going on in Croydon these days, HOWEVER, as you are coming in August you could be in luck and there might actually be 2 events happening that month. I co-run Croydon Basslift, a newish night that we are putting on quarterly, previously having booked Hatcha, N-Type, Wen, Mutated Mindz & Beezy. Our next event is 17/08 (not sure if you'll be over by that point?!), and although for this event we having a more house/garage sound in the main room, we'll be having dubstep & a little bit of d&B in room 2.....plus our soundsystems are pretty decent.

Also theres pretty much always a Croydub @ Black Sheep Bar in Croydon on the bank holiday Sunday in August, which this year would be the 25th. Bound to get some big names at that one.

EDIT:- If you are about for Basslift, give me a shout & Im sure we can hook you up some free entry!!
Big up yeah cheers mate. Getting in on the 20th I think! :u: Will miss your one but may catch the Croydub if its on.
Defo hit up Croydub if you're there for the next one! Family vibes, it's an awesome night. Shame you're gonna miss Croydon Basslift, as LA Boxers said they have a hench rig in there.

I didnt know about basslift! Just moved to Croydon myself, will have to come say hello.

And @ opening poster, I think the most crucial night to hit is system. Only night since early DMZs that have truly captured the feel of the early movements of dubstep for me. Although, I havent been since mala stopped being involved. Ahhh man, mala dropping cays crays remix at the first system...jeeeez, tears in eyes stuff
