Are you enabling write on the synth as well as the instrument channel?

you mean the baypass option? or the Read inside the vst?JFK wrote:Are you enabling write on the synth as well as the instrument channel?
Re: Wobbles Speed Cubase 7 Problem
Not the bypass option. The read inside the vst.dudi1991 wrote:you mean the baypass option? or the Read inside the vst?JFK wrote:Are you enabling write on the synth as well as the instrument channel?
Re: Wobbles Speed Cubase 7 Problem
yes, on the top right corner.. this is enable.JFK wrote:Not the bypass option. The read inside the vst.dudi1991 wrote:you mean the baypass option? or the Read inside the vst?JFK wrote:Are you enabling write on the synth as well as the instrument channel?
but it just dont seems to work with this or even with the baypass option, i mean, if i press the bypass button i cant even hear this VST at all, only when im disabling it.

Re: Wobbles Speed Cubase 7 Problem
If you mean what I think you do; that you want to record automation for lfo speed (wobble) within a vst in realtime (live) then ;
At the top left hand corner of the vat/synth, there should be two buttons, one has an R the other has a W.
When you want to record automation live you must make sure the W button is on, turn it back off once you've finished recording your automation. And make sure the R button is on for that synth as if its not it won't read the automation you've just recorded.
Hope this is what you're after! If not, I have no idea what you're talking about lol!

Re: Wobbles Speed Cubase 7 Problem
The bypass button will just bypass the synth / vst altogether, hence why you won't hear anything from it with this selected.

first of all, thanks alot!! you were right, now i know what i suppose to do, thanks really much!!
but... what about for live recording EQ change? how i do that?? lets say i want a kick getting higher for a drop with an EQ... how am i suppose to do it? how do i make a real time eq? same as this? add an EQ to the inserts and press W and just change it real time?

Re: Wobbles Speed Cubase 7 Problem
Yeah, you can automate the eq exactly the same waay you automate the synth.dudi1991 wrote:first of all, thanks alot!! you were right, now i know what i suppose to do, thanks really much!!

Re: Wobbles Speed Cubase 7 Problem
as JFK said, you can automate eq the same way. But for what you're talking about "a kick getting higher for a drop", your best bet is probably to automate the cut off on a filter - would be easier than automating the eq and would sound better in my opinion.
