What daw he uses doesn't mean that much as he owns like 40.000 squid worth of modular gear

He uses every DAW in existence (some of the glitchier stuff sounds like ableton to me) but he mixes down in cubase these days.
But yeah, it hardly matters, he probably rarely uses stock plugins.

Ok, after a number of complaints some quite heavy editing has taken place in this thread. I don't especially like editing threads to this extent as it breaks the flow of things and there is always the risk of some gems being lost in amongst the clutter.
However, in this case the attitudes and generally interactions taking place in the thread were unpleasant and counterproductive to say the least. As such, I would ask again that you keep things civil, and don't resort to playground name calling or similar.
If it happens again, the thread will be locked and people may be issued with further warnings and/or banned altogether. This isn't 4chan or a Call Of Duty online foyer, so I would ask that all act like decent human beings to one another.

Re: My DAW is better than yours! (Friendly DAW Wars debate)
Well, here is a complete non-sequitur from the previous discussion:
Can someone explain the "logic" behind the way the sampler windows open in Logic? When I'm in the EXS24 and I click on a sample to open the waveform editor, why would that window open BEHIND the sampler? Then if I happen to also have the key mapping window open as well, I have to manually move both out of the way to get to the waveform window... so unnecessary.

3 days of squabbling lost forever to the ether. I felt like we were really getting somewhere. There were also some posts that were completely civil and on topic that got cut which is a bit silly. Not like this isn't the internet, business doesn't get too too serious.
To sum up
better = (Reaper) ?? true : false;

I'm with EH on this one.

Not a question, it's a conditional statement. Better is true assuming Reaper, otherwise false.

FL, Studio One and Logic are so much win, Ableton would be too but it crashes too much, Bitwig isnt even out yet and you assume its asscheeks, Reaper is ight. LMMS is like a said a fail clone of FL4, I hate the shit out of Darkwave, Audacity is NOT for Sequencing, and idk the restjrisreal wrote:List of asscheek sequencers:

-qTractor

-Open Octave Studio (MusE fork)
-Audacity
-Wavosaur
-Ardour (although the main devs are asscheeks; speaking with them is like speaking with a Microsoft representative)

Re: My DAW is better than yours! (Friendly DAW Wars debate)
I just found out Reaper is just coping Podium
Try them both they have VERY similar layouts, reacts the same when you overlap 2 audio clips (annoying), and Podium was made way before Reaper (Help>About)
