Get Your Skates On, Sunshine (320)

Post by victorxray » Sun Sep 16, 2007 12:06 pm

So here I was working from a track I started yesterday. And it almost totally sucked ... I was going to waste my production weekend.

Then, at about 4pm, I ditched that track to start another track, may as well salvage something ... and with about 15 minutes I'd written the majority of the parts you can hear in this track, which I think totally rocks with a nice solid groove. Then I spent the next couple of hours getting the arrangement sorted ... Get Your Skates On!!!

It's about a minute too long, I think. But it's a nice muscular dubstep number with electro overtones. It's really quite nice, if I don't say so myself.

New version, same url - http://vx.autonomous.org/320s/hermes/SkatesOn.mp3

This mix is tighter, shorter, and with more variation.
