Phase Issues From Stereo Widening

Hey guys! I've tried researching around and found somethings that were somewhat close, but still not exactly the answer I was looking for. But Is getting a small amount of phase issues a bad thing when stereo widening instruments? Some of my basses have a little bit of anti-phase when using the pan position control within Massive. I was just curious if there is an obvious way around this? I have messed around with the Restart via Gate option but it doesn't seem to help. I understand that turning off the pan position would fix this, but even using another widening plugin seems to cause phase issues. Just looking for some tips to possibly help with this. Thanks!

In massive just apply dimension expander with the size knob at the zero, then just play around with Dry/Wet...
And try widening the higher freq. in Izotope Ozone Imager (If you have it) and narrowing the lower frequencies.

apply a delay to one half of the signal, if you're having phasing, I notice the more you make one of the signal different from the other, it will phase less. So maybe eq one side differently, change fx params a bit, etc.

I always find that dimen expanders and other fx that simply make things sound bigger tend to make things sound thinner cause it's processing the entire sound, kind of stretching it.

for width I use a filter delay and turn off any processing on the mono signal so it stays sounding powerful. For mid basses simply boosting the side signal can do wonders.

Turning down the size to zero and only using the dry/wet did give a better result. I can definitely notice how the dimension expander makes it sound a little thinner. I would love to try out using a filter delay. Is there a good one that you would recommend? I've just been using FL Studio's delays for the time being.
