record everything you do, I've started doing it recently and it's really helped. It takes a bit longer to set up but it means if you do a blinder you've got it saved. It also gets you used to recording so when you need to do a recorded mix, I've found it easier.

Have you guys not played live before?
If you are so afraid of ruining a recorded mix how will you cope live?

Have done a few times, never had any issues at all. Quite odd really.

Recording makes me shit scared but I'm better at mixing when playing out than practicing.

It used to be nice and quiet in here. We're all socially inept nerds, so we only talk to each other when we're stuck or asking each other to do something... being the grumpy old arse I am, I kind of like it that way. This dude just sits there and says every single thing that pops into his head... it's not like he even waits for something interesting to pop up.

He just got halfway through a story before anyone even acknowledged he was talking. Something about how rich you can get selling babyfood.
