The trains are really easy and quick and you dont have to pay for them really. We got checked once but they just pick one person when they do it so stand in the middle of the carriage cos one guard comes from either side.

spacehall is good, biggest selection of electronic music ive seen in a shop i think. you can smoke in there too. Power park is another nice record shop, the guy there is really friendly aswell. I had an amazing thai meal just round the corner from there aswell.

Theres an area with cheap bars that seems kind of squatted in an old industrial estate that has a massive skatepark and climbing walls in it aswell. Cant remember what it called but theres a place called cassiopeia there. good placeto hang out and theres lots of graffiti to look at, as there is in most places.

Gorlitzer park if you want green, good deals aswell and the guys selling are friendly aswell. Theres also a guy with sick frisbee skills there all the time.

i played at a little festival in a place called kosmonaut which is a cool venue with a nice outdoor area and a couple of dingy concrete rooms with pretty nice sound, just next to that is subland which seems to have dubstep and dnb aswell as harder dance music quite alot.

I once had hand to hand contact whilst receiving my change in Berlin. This is definitely a rare occurrence for an Englishman in the Fatherland.

As been said, Tresor is good, Suicide Circus was good, nice to watch the sun some up in the outdoor part, heaps or bars and that around that area. You can also check out the abandon theme park at the bottom of Treptower park. You cant go wrong around Kreuzberg, I've stayed at baxpax Kreuzberg a few times, all ways good there. It's a shame the Horst got closed down.
