Get your levels in right. I'm not sure, you could definitely add a limiter afterwards

Don't see why you'd want a limiter on a mix tho (I'm assuming u mean recording a mix)

Haha It was WAV. by the time I had realized I already have Audacity I had found a program called CDex which did a great job.
