You should get familiar with Spectrasoul, especially the older stuff, and Icicle, not too bothered about Friction or Mefjus personally

Yeah In my head Friction is like Dj Fresh, I have absolutely no idea why

Any mixes would be handy by any of them, going to brush up on my dnb over the coming weeks.

He's the king of drum sounds. But I think it's all in the mixdown and sample choice. Seenhis tut online? He does minimal layering and lots of saturation. Doesn't do a million sounds either or hurt the original sounds by EQ'ing it to oblivion.

I think his drums stand-out by dominating the mix. His basses have very few highs and there isn't much going on in the melodies either. Also clever sound placement between the drum sounds is another thing he does well.

@ Outlook last year Rockwell played for around 90-120 mins & it was sick. First hour or so was 120-130bpm, (Bax into Getting Me Down :P: ) + some trap/hip hop. Then he pitched up Hyph Mngo in the breakdown to get to 170 + double dropped it with some stupid tune then straight D&B for last hour.

Icicle has proper improved his DJing. Man is a sick selector.

If he does anything like this you're in for a treat. (Icicle's from 3hr52mins)
