I heard this on my soundcloud stream, good stuff! it needs a much better mix though.

Thanks man! What do you suggest for the mix? I'm having a bit of trouble hearing it. If you can give me some pointers I would really appreciate it man.GregoryTJ wrote:I heard this on my soundcloud stream, good stuff! it needs a much better mix though.

It sounds overcompressed/limited, like it is pumping.Devilsindub wrote:Thanks man! What do you suggest for the mix? I'm having a bit of trouble hearing it. The high end is a bit weak as well, also it seems to have a lot of low and low-mid masking going on, but again that could just be compression/limiting.
You could also make some of your basses more mono and your cymbals/hats more pronounced.

You're right man I'm hearing that too. That pumping sound makes the Reece sound like someone slurping up their milk from their cereal bowl lol. Thanks for the tips man.
