DJVC - Meditate (Drum & Bass/Hard)

Post by jaspervc » Thu Oct 03, 2013 2:16 pm

Hello

I'm working on a new drum & bass track.
Let me know what you think ;)

I also tried to get the (idk how to say it but,..) annoying sound out of the bassline. Somewhere in the higher frequenties, but it didn't help with a lot of eq'ing.. Someone who knows something to improve this?

Soundcloud

Thanks for listening :4:

Think I can hear the bit in teh bassline you're talking about, more noticeable from ~1m08s onwards? Sounds like it could be a clash with one of the other elements that's causing the slight top end fuzz/distortion.

You could work through the mixdown again, muting all the channels and then running solo combinations of them with each other to try and track down the issue?
