What is the Konkrete Kula? The term Kula transcends various warm climate cultures throughout the globe. In the Trobriand Tr ibe of Papua New Guinea, The Kula Ring represents a ceremonial system of gift exchange; in the ancient Sanskrit language Kula translates into “community” or “clan”. The Kula people of Northern Thailand spread various traditions and customs throughout the region with their nomadic lifestyle. The Kula name can be found in the name of a district in Hawaii, a tribe in Nigeria, and among various other countries.

In an accelerated world we have lost our connection to the people around us. The feeling of community and reciprocity has to be brought back to the Urban or “Konkrete” Jungle. The Konkrete Kula is a celebration of this idea; the timeless complementing elements of music, food and beverage will be our vehicle of connection. Every Saturday we will provide a “ceremonial” event where people come together and share their energy, and allow themselves to connect with others.

With this experience we aim to help y ou find your unique translation of the Kula. Our definition will be formed by you, accompanied by raw sound, and an intimate selection of acclaimed food and beverages. Join us. Welcome to Konkrete Kula.
