Sheeeeeeeeet...reups in April though?

Four of our crew missed out as well so we only ended up with 12 instead of 16 last year. Apparently they'd changed the maximum number you could buy at once or something?

Yeah, down to 6 apparently. I had to come into the office because we still haven't got an Internet connection at the new place... sat here from 9 to 10.45 hitting refresh. Made it to the fill in your registrations page, but couldn't move on from there no matter how much back/resubmit I tried.

Hopefully the resale will come through... otherwise I'm looking for a friendly promoter to let me play an hour of cheese in a cafe or something!

Ahhh that sucks. Had mine sorted whilst I was in Morocco so didn't have the joys of the F5 game this time.

Hmmm...would you be up for working at some promotion at it to get in? Might know someone who may be able to help in that case.

I would think so... I should probably tap Jimmy up to see if they need an extra steward too, but however I do it I'll probably have to make sure I can get V in.

Didnt get any either, K an K were massivley pissed off. No chance we will get 8 tickets in the resale either :(
Think we might go to Bestival or something instead, though Im pretty set on Outlook/Dimensions.

We managed to get 5/6 in the resale last year IIRC for our crew who didn't get it first time round, so don't lose hope :)

Bestival is quality if you've never been before, it's got a similar feel to Glasto but much much smaller. Saw Prodigy there a few years back, even with it chucking down had a good one.

Nah only ever been to Glasto (Global hardly counts) and Ive heard its good. Though I think it actually clashes with Out/Dimensions :|
Benicasim or Sonar was mentioned aswell. Would be a change to go to a euro festival!

Haven't been before and a mate and I have been wanting to go for years. Decided fuck it last minute that we were just gonna do it this year and went to register on Tuesday and realised it closed on the Monday :corncry:

Gonna try our luck in April though!

I recommend Benicassism, awesome vibes there and the weather/location is lush. Don't camp if you can help it though, heard the tents get a bit warm when the sun hits.

We got a few cheap apartments here;

http://www.marinador.com/en

They lay on shuttle buses to get you to the festival site, plus you're slap on the beach and have pools/bars to occupy yourself during the day.

Primavera is also worth a punt if you're wanting a Barcelona festival with less of a purist electronic leaning as Sonar.

Yeah there's always loads of K at boomtown, it's the free party crusties that bring that though.

We're going outlook, already got accomodation booked, gonna book flights and tickets in december, on some serious pre planning shit!

Benicassim's definitely an option for us - already got a couple of mates going and the prospect of hotelling it is really quite attractive. Dour's probably our other Euro shout... worth it for the music alone normally, but it's definitely not Glastonbury. Roskilde could be a shout...

My old housemate's on about going to Burning Man, but plenty of people go on about doing Burning Man every year and it doesn't happen, so I'm not banking on it getting organised.

I went to Roskilde on one of the fallow Glastonbury years - it's a really nice festival. Just about the only one I've been to that feels kind of like Glastonbury (hippie pedigree, it's been running for decades, large attendance, lots of stages - though nothing like as many as in Pilton)... but you still have to deal with camping separately from the stages and not being able to take all your drinks in with you (I think we had to cut the tops off plastic bottles so they couldn't be thrown... or held...)

But Denmark's a genuinely beautiful place to go to a festival and I've got some very close friends in Copenhagen that I haven't seen in years...

If I don't go I can probably nominate someone to take my place, don't think my brother would be going either so there may well be 2 spaces available

Its pretty hard to decide once you realise there isnt Glastonbury. Its an excuse to visit europe atleast.
Alice said with Roskilde that they open the campsite a week before, so you get these week long partys where people come with sound systems and stuff. Sounded like a laugh.
Cant think of anyother festivals worth looking into..
