I don't know who that is or what you're on about.

Volor Flex is awful. It just sounds like a corny version of Untrue era Burial

Just sounds like Burial to me. I like how Burial sounds. Remove the politics from it, and I can dig it. Sounds more like Burial era Burial to me for the most part.

I dunno, I struggle to see the point of listening to a clear rip off, that's also nowhere near as remotely good.

Feels like a waste of time.

Yeah, that's fair enough, and plenty of people agree with you no doubt. I think it really is something good though so can overlook it, and that's our only difference here.

wish volar flex put his effort into doing something more original, mans got bare production chops.

like Atsubox started on that burial flex but went down their own route pretty quickly.

His faster paced stuff with Encode is pretty sick. Done some autonomic-y stuff with Sangam too. #unheard #exclusive

Don't think anyone can get away with it. It just sounds lame to copy him. Plus it's always corny as hell. I mean Burial has gone a bit that way of late on his own but the first couple albums had the right vibe which none of the copies do. They just sound like copies.

haha word^

I used to be into bait "future garage" you find on youtube and soudcloud. Some of it is alright in terms of melody etc but its weak as fuck. There was one producer or group of producers called "Static Pirates", it's that kind of corny wankery. Burial works partly cos the man clearly has a healthy diet of hardcore, jungle and garage, it's not just generic weak "emotional" shit, which is exactly what the style biters are.

Something I've never understood is the level of questioning "burial rip-offs" get compared to others. If you think all these dungeon producers didn't hear One Of Us and think "I wanna make that", you're mistaken. If you think bare producers in the 130 thread aren't just recreating Big Shot, DJ XTC and Youngstar tunes, you're mistaken. If you think Boddika didn't hear Underground Resistance and think he should make that, you're mistaken.

Yeah, people call them on it occasionally, but drop some vinyl crackle or a pitched rnb vocal in your tune, and you get bare bods on here saying you're a rip-off.

If people only want entirely original artists in their collection, well, it's gonna be a very small collection.

Yeah fair enough

but in this case volar flex doesn't sound like a unoriginal tune the way some of those ones. Like using the same sort of bass as big shot or whatever. Literally every element both sonically and in terms of the actual composition of the track sounds like it was done to copy Burial in some of his tracks.

Hey, I'm doing market research for a Dubstep project, and I need to know, what Dubstep fans would expect to see in a dubstep video. Please can you reply to this post or message, as this would really help me with my data results. :D
