I Think the Best strategy would be to get up on the roof of the little house sort of in the middle of the map and basically just stay there. Also bring granades/sticky bombs if you can.
Completing it gives you 20k btw
Apparently this tactic has been nerfed. A lot of people have been complaining about failing the mission for being on the roof. I was playing the trainyard survival yesterday with the introspectionist and it failed on the 1st wave for us b/c we were on the roof I normally camp on. R* is now forcing you to stay on the ground. Anyone else run into this issue yet?

I Think it comes Down to People being too slow shooting down the choppers, rather than a nerf.

Has anyone got the 250k yet?
What does chopper detail have to do with failing wave 1? Choppers don't even show up until wave 3-4.... and it has been changed so you can't get on roof-tops anymore. Not to mention, on waves that has a chopper I hide until all the land people are dead then I hunt the chopper, so I doubt there is a time limit on taking choppers out.
Well then i guess it comes Down to being shit at shooting. It shouldnt be a problem standing whereever on the map shooting those 10+- hillbillies that comes running in wave 1.
Also how would you make it impossible to get up on that roof? If they made it taller, you could just drive a car up on the side of the house and jump from there.
No there is no time limit on killing the choppers, the only limit there is is shooting it before it shoots you.
Going to try and see when i get home. It wasnt nerfed two days ago.

lol, aight man, you try and camp on the roof when you get home and lemme know how it works out for you. You say it shouldn't matter where on the map we stand, but it clearly does matter, if you're saying my shooting is shit then there is no pleasing you. I never said it's "impossible" to get on the roof, just that you'll fail the mission for being up there

TheIntrospectionist wrote:Also got the Boneyard survival done with one other player. Was mostly okay outside of the bus (staying in there resulted in me not getting many kills so I took cover behind the yellow forklift opposite the plane at the back). My partner died halfway through wave 10 and I had to make a mad dash to the bus on little health. Once I made it (by the skin of my teeth) I had no problem finishing the rest off. I've also found it much easier to take down choppers with a sniper rifle...Always seem to miss with RPGs online .

I'm also still waiting for the first 250k. Just saved my first 100k and I'm at the point where I need to fill up on ammo for all of my weapons (and buy some of the new ones I've unlocked) but I really don't want to blow all my money :(. Might just see if the cargo drops help much. Thinking about spending some more time on single player later and getting some of these collectibles and left over strangers and freaks missions done.

Not sure whether to sell my PIS shares yet either.

EDIT: Blown most of the 100k in Ammunation :( But at least I'm no longer stuck trying to go through jobs with nothing but a silenced pistol

EDIT #2: Just signed back in to find it has lost all my progress from earlier today and I've gone from level 37 back down to 35 and have no ammo. WTF!? :u:
Nice nice, I've also noticed the sniper rifle is more effective than the RPG on those helis. I typically don't use a RPG unless I can get right under the heli, I've hit them from far off but you have lead them like no other. Everytime I've hit one from far away I felt like I wasn't even aiming at it  In the boneyard I like staying close to the barn, tucked between boxes so when helis arive I can easily get into the barn for safety. Last night before I logged off I finally hit 400k so when I get home today I'm gonna buy my high end apt, which means when hiests come out, I'll have the planning room for anyone wanting to do hiests!!! Also I had a nice little glitch occur for reasons unknown. Was doing a survival and picked up some assault rifle ammo (I use my assault rifle most) and it took me from like 2k ammo all the way to max, 9999 ammo. So I got full ammo for free!!!

Also, sucks about your lost progress, I noticed saturday R* was having cloud issues.

had a fantastic game late last night, found a special car for Simeon and some guy tries to jack me for it. I kill him and carry on to the closest mod shop. he follows me, kills me before I can respray and jacks the car. So I'm pissed and he's hightailing it to the docks. I go to the helipad nr. the beach, jump in a chopper and fly over to the docks. get there about 2 minutes before he does and I place sticky bombs by the garage entrance. Boom. Satisfaction.

hahahaha  Sir, that was hilarious to read!

Where did you get the chopper from tho? I only started playing properly online yesterday, albeit by myself, I just played missions solo and robbed shops.

Remember you can bank cash via your phone rather than finding an ATM - just go to the Money section and choose Maze Bank. :)

Finally got enough cash to pimp up my car a bit... need to do some races so I can do some engine mods though.
Big up, the saved me bare time yesterday

There's the helipad near vespucci beach, always has 2 choppers there. and then there's the airfeild out near sandy shores that has a chopper and a plane. I bought a crappy 80k apartment, just because it's opposite the helipad!

Right on mang, I'll add you when I get home from work, will help with anything you need aside from giving you money cus that option is still down, but we can grind some survival missions. Making it to the higher waves gives a pretty badass payout
