Re: Maschine users // Studio NI DAW
Yeah, and I never really got to the point of like serious knowledge on it. I was facile but not like blindfolded.
I think I am going to do the 2.0 softs. I kind of forgot all of the limitations with the workflow that got me back into flstudio. I'm hoping that the 2.o will fix the limitations I am encountering. I'm having a very hard time though, like getting nuts and bolts on what 2.0 does/fixes.

Create a new empty pattern, put a hit on the first beat of the pattern, click on the sample, wait 30 seconds, drag it onto the desktop. Wait 15 seconds for it to appear, open folder for sample library navigate to folder... repeat 30 times through a project and

Re: Maschine users // Studio NI DAW
Even though we are installing a window and the main gasket in the washing machine broke...pretty sure I'm buying this after I pay all my other bills. Goddamn being an adult!nowaysj wrote:Just got the email. AVAILABLE NOW. Who will be the first?

Re: Maschine users // Studio NI DAW
Being an adult is bs. Before I lost my job I used to just buy anything I wanted (well within reason). Now that I have a new job that doesn't pay shit, I have to save money and balance my budget.
Where's my mommy? I don't wannabe grown up anymore.
Anyways, who knows when I'll get it. I can always hold out for Xmas.
Or maybe I'll go the kickstarter route. Seems to be all the rage these days.

Re: Maschine users // Studio NI DAW
Lol@kick starter. Ive got so much shit to pay for this quarter...really went into debt over the summer...could only get a shit job. But Ive been waiting fkr this update so I could do even more just inside Maschine. If Maschine studio would also replace my MOTU 828 interface I'd seriously consider selling a lot of gear to finance that purchase....

Re: Maschine users // Studio NI DAW
Yeah, I think the totally dropped the ball on not having it act as a basic interface. Just stuck a stripped down version of komplete audio in that bad boy and call it a day. It would be the ultimate all in one solution.
Re: Maschine users // Studio NI DAW
In 6 months there will be a used market to look into. In a year we will see significant deals popping up on used ones if we watch carefully. Who knows NI might do a nice sale in the next 12 months as well.Crimsonghost wrote:Yeah, I think the totally dropped the ball on not having it act as a basic interface. Edit: ths 828 is 8 in 8 out so it'd have to step up to that as well ; p

We're all too broke to buy the update so we need SOMETHING to talk about.
Re: Maschine users // Studio NI DAW
My car just shit the bed this month. $750 in repairs mid month, and I got home last night and I see two flat tires. Fuck you car. I didn't even fix em today.
BUT I'm getting maschine 2.0 software. Do you gentlemen use it in standalone? I do. Renders out of there have always sounded dead and dull to me. Some of that is gain staging which is kind of a pain in the ass in maschine, but some of it was its internal processing limitations.
The ability to get plugs spread across all 4 cores, internal floating 32 bit, and a mixer... that is it for me. We haff un vinner.
Hundo is not so bad. Just bought an rnc, a porta ministudio for 150 and a portastudio lined up for $75... so fuck, I kind of went overboard. I didn't really intend to buy the rnc or the ministudio, just one of those ebay things.
