Sciatica-Cosmos (Chill/Dark)

Post by sciaticamusic » Tue Oct 22, 2013 8:13 pm

Chill and uplifting dubstep song I made. Also has some dark parts with heavy sub work. Kinda reminds me of Ganja White Night.

Once the song drops at 1:36ish you need way more percussion. It sounds really empty. I would also turn the BPM up a few BPMs.

Agree with the above comments, track does feel a little empty at times and more than a little ploddy with it's rhythm.

Thanks for the feedback. Definitely needs some more work to fill in those empty spots. What do you mean by ploddy exactly?

The pace/rhythm of the track is a little too slow and monotonous, I guess?

The stuff is right up my street! :D Both the ideas and production qualities are pretty appealing to my tastes :W: The only things that I would zero-in on would be snare sounding a bit too hollow (bass drowning the low ends of it perhaps?) and the "Yoi" bass sound that popped up a few times, but that's just a pet peeve from it being used quite a lot over the past few years.

Really enjoyable to listen to overall so kudos :4:
