amazing strike. Funny that it happened so close to the Wilshere goal, both being goal of the season candidates. What do people think is better? complete opposites too, intricate team play v stroke of individual brilliance

I think I prefer the set up to a goal - like how Riquelme or Laudrup would just put it on a silver platter - even more so than a complex group action. I think this is one of the better goals in a few years, but maybe Boatengs goal against Barca last year or one of P. Cisses cracks in his first season actually trumphs it?.

This is probably the cheekiest goal I've seen.

The long range strikes/spectacular volleys a la Rooney/Cisse always seem to come out on top but I think the combined skill & intuition of 3/4 players & the amount of defenders they get through in the Wilshere goal is better than that volley however good it was.

This one tho is a personal from the last few years: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gWUyim2lsrk

yeah that elmander goal is nuts. Still love van persie's one from last season as well, re-angling that volley off such a long ball was amazing
