It's a fairly new genre and you may find it difficult to find much information about it on the internet. If you want to check out some more witch dubstep listen to the self claimed creator Zomby. Follow him here https://twitter.com/ZombyMusic and if you have the time send a tweet his way. Don't forget to hit the big ups!

Thanks I appreciate the info I actually have been following zomboy for a long time thats pretty funny that I never knew he claimed to be the creator of "witch dubstep" very interesting to me. Thats the reason I joined the forum I deff want to learn more about dubstep and all the little sub classes of it, I am not much of a house music kind of guy I can tolerate it but dubstep is really my kind of music. Thanks again

SideBar:

Speaking of Zomboy Idk where any of you guys/girls are from, but did anyone go see Zomboy at Ezoo NYC in august? He deff killed that set so did Mt Eden and ton of other people.

Chill step is more or less like the trance version of dub step IMO obviously... this is somewhat like progressive dubstep in relation to house... I am just wondering if there is a specific type of subclass to this exact type of music
^ youre wrong, chillstep is 130-140bpm downtempo dubstep.
go on youtube and type in chillstep and listen to the results.
a trance version of dubstep sounds like borderline brostep...
*continues wanking over sub-genres*

Again I agree you are 100% right I am saying **IMO** that means **In My Opinion** they sound similar I don't listen to brostep and have no idea what that is but chill step its not my style music... that is all I was saying I am not interested in technical arguments or arguments whatsoever.

But yea I really thought his album was pretty good not my fav of his music but I also only have it a few quick listens I haven't really let any of the songs grow on me yet.. And you mean
